Labour Market and Employment (formal and non-formal)

In Belgium, an evaluation of PIC EQUAL in the French and German-speaking communities (2000-2006). PIQ analyses the manner that EQUAL achieved its objective of experimenting and transferring new means of implementation of the employment policies through the PDD (Development Partnerships) that cover 5 themes: access to labour market, SMEs creation, adult education, equality between men and women and the asylum seekers' issue.

In the Lebanon, the consortium assisted the Lebanese government in the modernisation and reform of the Ministry of Labour and of the National Employment Agency. The project helped to deliver new labour and employment policies, new management systems for work permits and immigration, new labour market laws and regulations, better labour and employment sector protection and co-ordination, new vocational employment structures, and new employment regenerating measures.
