PovertyPoverty alleviation and reduction strategies (PRSP) have been a core element of HTSPE, as well as several of our consortium members. One of our major programmes on poverty reduction is for the UK Government’s DFID, for whom we are running the NRSP. This programme has poverty reduction as a core element in natural resources strategies. A second DFID programme with poverty reduction as its guiding principle is the Programme of Advisory and Support Services (PASS), Our consortium members ODI and ADE have conducted large policy studies and implementation assignments throughout the world, in particular in Asia and throughout the ACP countries. Examples where the consortium has conducted individual poverty reduction projects include Kyrgyzstan, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Vietnam; Tanzania, Nigeria, South Africa, Uganda, Kenya, Ghana and many other ACPs; Moldova, Ukraine, Russia; Ecuador
